Day Sixty Seven

Yesterday was intern presentation day. Got all dressed up for it – Sarah would have been proud. I finally figured out how to properly wear a skirt. She was horrified at my lack of knowledge in that department.

After six weeks of deliberation, lots of meetings and lots of indecision we finally got it together and came up with an idea to present.

There were six intern groups in all. Three groups had one brief for esurance and 3 had a brief for Sprint. I was in the latter.

In high school, I would have been horrified to present in front of that many people. Did I mention that the President of all of the North America part of Leo Burnett Worldwide was sitting in the front row? Ten minutes to present and 75+ people in the room and I was surprisingly not nervous. Weird, right? I surprise myself sometimes. The only jitters I got was chattering teeth due to the fact that the room was about 30 degrees.

Felt great to get that all over and done with. Definitely learned things along the way and it’s not often that you get the opportunity to present to a bunch of big people in an ad agency.

That all took up the majority of the day from 8:30-1:30 and then we all sat around and had lunch while watching 30 Rock. Awesome.

Two days left and only one project to finish up!

And for the blog announcement that you’re all so eagerly checking in to hear more about – patience! Tomorrow will be the day.

  1. You are amazing. Take pride in how far you have come. Have faith in how far you can go. You go girl. Send Sarah a picture of you in your
presentation skirt – or not. Love you.
